Finding your way around ClubMeister
Your home screen is the team calendar — swipe through weeks, tap a day to see events and RSVPs, and use the tabs and search to reach everything else.
Your home screen
Home is your team calendar and the hub of the app. At the top you'll see your team's name and logo with a friendly greeting (Hey, <name> 👋). Below that, a swipeable week strip lets you move through the weeks — small dots mark days that have events. Tapping a day filters the list of event tiles below, each showing the date, type, time, location and your RSVP.
On a wide screen (a tablet or your browser) the same tab becomes a fuller Calendar layout: a month grid, an Up next agenda, and a search box in the top bar.
ClubMeister remembers the last tab you had open, so after a fresh start you might land straight on that tab rather than always on Home.
Browse the calendar
How you move through your events depends a little on the size of your screen.
On your phone:
- Swipe the week strip left or right — you can go roughly ten weeks back or forward. A floating month label confirms which month you're looking at.
- Tap a day to filter the list to just that day's events; pull down on the list to refresh it.
- Tap any event tile to open its full details.
- With a day selected, tap Show all dates (the pill at the bottom) to clear the filter and see everything again.
On the web or a tablet:
- Use the month grid's arrows to move between months — the Up next agenda follows along.
- Click a day in the grid to narrow the agenda to just that day.
- Type in the Search events… box in the top bar to find any event by title.
An empty day shows "No events on this day" — with a Create event button if you're allowed to add one.
Getting around: tabs and menu
On mobile a floating bar sits at the bottom of the screen with five tabs, in this order:
- Calendar — your home screen and event list.
- Chat — team chat, direct messages and role chats.
- Posts — the team's posts and announcements.
- Members — the people on your team.
- Activity — recent goings-on in your team.
Red badges keep you up to date at a glance: Chat shows your unread messages, Posts shows anything you haven't confirmed yet, and Members shows pending join requests (admins only).
On the web the same destinations live in a sidebar, which also adds a Search item, an optional Payments area, your team's external links, and — for admins — a Manage section for club settings and tools.
Create an event or post
If you're allowed to add things, a floating + button appears on Home.
- Tap the + button.
- Choose Event to open the event form, or Post to open the post form.
You'll only see the options you can actually use — so if you can create posts but not events, the sheet shows just the Post row.
Search for events
The Search screen is the fastest way to find a specific event, including past ones.
- Open the side menu on Home and tap Search Events, or use the Search item in the web sidebar.
- Type into Search by title — results update as you type and are grouped by month. By default you'll see current and upcoming events.
- Narrow things down with the type chips: All, Game, Practice, Tournament, Social and Meeting.
- Tap a result to open the event.
When you tap Share an event in a chat, the same Search screen opens in share mode ("Select an event to share") — picking a result sends it straight into that chat.
What you can see and do
ClubMeister tailors the home screen to your role, so not everyone sees exactly the same buttons.
- The + button, the web New event button and the empty-day Create event link appear only if you're allowed to create events or posts.
- Tapping the team logo to change it is an admin action; everyone else sees a read-only header.
- The admin Manage tools in the web sidebar (your club, invites, roles, custom data, sites, data import, analytics, team settings and — where enabled — payments) are for admins only.
If your request to join a team is still awaiting approval, most screens are locked and the menu looks empty until an admin approves you. Once you're in, everything opens up.
