Posts and polls: your team's news feed

Share announcements with photos, ask everyone to confirm they've read them, keep the conversation going in replies, and attach polls your team can vote on.

What this covers

Every team has a Posts feed — a running news stream of announcements. A post has a title and a rich-text body (with photos in-line), and can optionally include a poll, links to events, and an end date. The feed has two tabs: Recent and Archived. Pinned posts float to the top above a "PINNED" divider, and posts you haven't acknowledged yet carry a "Not confirmed yet" badge. Everyone can reply, and ClubMeister occasionally posts its own messages (like birthday greetings) under the author "ClubMeister".

Open Posts from the Posts tab in the bottom bar on your phone, or Posts in the sidebar on the web. On a wide screen the feed becomes a split view: the list on the left, the selected post on the right.

Create a post

If you have permission to post, you can share an announcement in under a minute.

  1. On the Posts feed, tap the + button (mobile) or New post (web). A sheet offers Event and Post — tap Post.
  2. On New Post, enter a Title and write the body under "Enter description". Use the toolbar to insert a photo or a poll.
  3. Tap Next to reach Set an end date. Optionally pick an end date — after that date the post moves to the Archived tab automatically.
  4. Tap Publish post (or Publish without end date). Your post opens right away.

Publishing a post sends a push notification to every team member ("New Post 📬 — Name created a new post titled …"), so save it for things the whole team should see.

Confirm you've read a post

Posts written by someone else show a "Not confirmed yet" badge, and they count toward the red number on the Posts tab, until you acknowledge them.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Tap I've read this message.

The badge count drops, the author can see you in the post's Confirmed by list, and your view of the post shows a green Confirmed check from then on. You'll never see a confirm button on your own posts.

Reply and discuss

Anyone on the team can join the conversation on any post.

  1. Tap Reply at the bottom of a post, write your message under "Share your thoughts…", and tap Reply.
  2. To respond to a specific comment, tap Reply on that comment — your reply nests underneath it as a thread.
  3. You can Delete your own replies at any time.

When you reply, the post's author and anyone who commented before you get a notification — but you won't get pinged by your own reply.

Add a poll and vote

Polls let the team decide something quickly — a training time, a jersey colour, who's bringing snacks.

To add one while writing a post:

  1. In the composer, choose the poll action.
  2. On New Poll, fill in the Question, Option 1, Option 2, and optionally Option 3, then tap Create poll.
  3. You return to the post with the poll attached — publish as usual.

To vote on a poll:

  • The poll card shows a percentage bar for each option.
  • Tap an option to vote, and tap it again to remove your vote. You can pick more than one option.
  • Tap Show results to see who voted for what.

A poll is locked once the post is published — when you later edit the post it shows as "Poll (Locked)" and can't be changed. Double-check your question and options before publishing.

Pin, edit and delete

If you wrote the post (or have the right permission), you'll see icon buttons on it:

  • Pin / Unpin — keeps an important post at the top of the feed under the "PINNED" divider.
  • Edit — opens Edit Post, where you can change the title, body and end date. An attached poll stays locked.
  • Delete — asks you to confirm ("This cannot be undone.") and then removes the post.

Very old posts (created before rich-text bodies) don't offer an Edit button. They still appear in the feed and can be replied to as normal.

Who can do what

  • Creating posts: the + / New post button appears only if your role has permission to create posts (or events). In the create sheet, the "Post" row shows only if you can create posts, and "Event" only if you can create events.
  • Managing a post: the author can always pin, edit and delete their own post; other people can do so only if their role grants the matching permission.
  • Reading, replying, voting and confirming: open to every team member — no special permission needed. You can only delete replies you wrote yourself.
