Can I run a rugby 7s tournament on ClubMeister?
Yes — tournaments are the League plan's headline feature: pools, brackets, kickoff schedules, referee score entry, and live public standings pages that spectators can follow without an account. California rugby clubs in the Founding 50 program get League free, and we'll help set up your first tournament.
Does ClubMeister replace Rugby Xplorer or USA Rugby registration?
No — and it isn't trying to. Rugby Xplorer handles USA Rugby membership registration and eligibility; ClubMeister runs everything in between: training RSVPs, selection, team chat, match-day logistics, tournaments, and dues. Most clubs use both.
A match-day squad is 23 — does the free plan fit a rugby club?
The free plan covers up to 15 members, which suits a 7s side or a small touch group. A full club wants the Club plan (up to 100 members, $120/year) or League (unlimited, $290/year). California rugby clubs can skip the math: the Founding 50 program includes League free through June 2027.
