ClubMeister is the first sports team management app with its own official MCP server — so the assistant you already use can answer questions about your club and get things done in it. Ask who's coming to Saturday's game, who keeps missing training, or how turnout compares to last season — then create the next event, invite new players, fill in the line-up, post an announcement with photos and a poll, or set up a whole new team, all without opening the app. OpenAI has now accepted the connector into the official ChatGPT Plugin directory, so ChatGPT users can find ClubMeister by name. No other app in this category ships one of its own.

Add the connector
In Claude, open connector settings, choose to add a custom connector, and paste the URL. In ChatGPT, search “ClubMeister” in the Plugin directory for ClubMeister: Team Manager and add it — it's an accepted plugin, so there's no URL to paste.
Sign in
ClubMeister opens its own sign-in page. Sign in with your ClubMeister email and password — the assistant never sees them.
Pick your team
Choose the team, review what the assistant will be able to do, and confirm. That's it.

What it can do — and what it can't.
The connector exposes a fixed, deliberately narrow set of actions. Nothing outside this list is reachable, whatever the assistant is asked.

Every action is additionally filtered by your own role. An admin whose role can't create events won't get an event-creating assistant.
Exactly what reaches the assistant.
Every answer passes through one privacy filter on our server before it leaves ClubMeister. Your members’ contact details stay in ClubMeister unless you ask for them.

The filter applies to every answer the assistant gets, including ones from tools we add later. A name someone typed into a post or description stays as it was typed. What the assistant does with the data it receives is governed by that assistant’s own terms, so tell your members before you connect.
No other team app has one.
MCP is how an assistant gets real access to a product — not a chatbot bolted onto a help centre, but the actual roster, events and attendance. Here is where the sports team management category stands today.

Based on each vendor's publicly available documentation as of August 2026. “None official” means the vendor publishes no MCP server of its own; unofficial community projects that wrap a vendor's public API do exist for some apps, but they aren't built, supported or secured by the vendor, and they can only reach what that API already exposes. Third-party products change — if one of them ships an official MCP server, we'll update this table.

An assistant acting on your club is only a good idea if the boundaries are real. These are.
OAuth, not API keys
Standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in on a ClubMeister page; the assistant only ever receives a scoped token, never your password.
Admins only
Only members whose role grants admin settings can connect. The sign-in page won't even list teams you don't administer.
Only its own teams
A connection works on the team you pick when connecting, plus any new team you ask it to create — never another existing team, not even one you run.
Permissions checked live
Your role is re-read on every single request. Lose a permission and the next thing the assistant tries simply fails.
Every action logged
Each tool call is recorded — what ran, by whom, when, and whether it succeeded — with per-connection rate limits on top.

Does ClubMeister have an MCP server?
