Official MCP connector · Beta
Run your team from Claude or ChatGPT.
ClubMeister is an MCP server, so the assistant you already use can answer questions about your club and get things done in it. Ask who's coming to Saturday's game, who keeps missing training, or how turnout compares to last season — then create the next event, set an RSVP, or post an announcement, all without opening the app.
Your club, in plain language.
No dashboards, no filters, no export. Just ask — and follow up.
“What's on for the team this week?”
Upcoming events with times, venues and the current RSVP split — games, trainings and everything in between.
“Who hasn't answered for Saturday yet?”
The exact list of members with no RSVP, so you know who to nudge before you finalise the squad.
“Who has missed the last three trainings?”
Attendance patterns per member, without exporting a spreadsheet or scrolling through past events.
“Compare training turnout to games this season.”
Attendance and RSVP statistics your assistant can summarise, chart or drop straight into your club report.
“Create a training on Tuesday at 18:30 at the main pitch.”
The event appears in the app and everyone gets the same push notification as if you'd created it there.
“Post that the away bus leaves at 09:00, and add a poll.”
Announcements and polls land in the team feed, formatted properly, authored by you.
Connected in about a minute.
No API key, no token to paste, nothing to install. Just the URL and a sign-in.
Copy the URL
Use the connector URL above — it's also on the AI connections screen in ClubMeister, in the Admin part of the menu.
Add a custom connector
In Claude or ChatGPT, open connector settings, choose to add a custom connector, and paste the URL.
ClubMeister opens its own sign-in page. Sign in with your ClubMeister email and password — the assistant never sees them.
Pick your team
Choose the team, review what the assistant will be able to do, and confirm. That's it.
Signed up with Google or Apple? Set a password in the app first — the sign-in page is email and password only. Full walkthrough in the AI connections help article.
What it can do — and what it can't.
The connector exposes a fixed, deliberately narrow set of actions. Nothing outside this list is reachable, whatever the assistant is asked.
| Area | Can see | Can change |
|---|---|---|
| Events | ✓ Upcoming and past events, times, venues, notes | ✓ Create and edit events, cancel an event |
| RSVPs & attendance | ✓ Who's in, out or hasn't answered; attendance history | ✓ Set an RSVP on a member's behalf |
| Members | ✓ The roster and member details your role can see | ✗ No inviting, removing or role changes |
| Teams & club | ✓ Team info and settings for the connected team | ✗ No team or club settings changes |
| Statistics | ✓ Turnout, attendance and engagement summaries | — |
| Posts & polls | ✓ The team feed, as readable text | ✓ Publish a post, publish a poll |
| Chat & messages | ✗ Never — no team chat, group chats or DMs | ✗ Never |
| Payments | ✗ Never — no fees, Stripe or payment data | ✗ Never |
| Deleting | — | ✗ Nothing is deleted. Cancelling an event is reversible in the app. |
Every action is additionally filtered by your own role. An admin whose role can't create events won't get an event-creating assistant.
Built so you can hand it the keys.
An assistant acting on your club is only a good idea if the boundaries are real. These are.
OAuth, not API keys
Standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in on a ClubMeister page; the assistant only ever receives a scoped token, never your password.
Admins only
Only members whose role grants admin settings can connect. The sign-in page won't even list teams you don't administer.
One team per connection
A connection is bound to a single team at connect time and can never reach another one — not even another team you run.
Permissions checked live
Your role is re-read on every single request. Lose a permission and the next thing the assistant tries simply fails.
Every action logged
Each tool call is recorded — what ran, by whom, when, and whether it succeeded — with per-connection rate limits on top.
Off in one tap
Disconnect from the AI connections screen and access stops that instant. Tokens are revoked in the same moment.
Common questions.
What clubs ask before they connect an assistant.
Does ClubMeister have an MCP server?
https://admin.clubmeister.app/mcp. Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors — including Claude and ChatGPT — can add it as a custom connector. It uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, so there's no API key to generate or paste. Can I manage my sports team from Claude or ChatGPT?
